MALARGUE: CHIVO CENTRAL

Every March this place hosts the great Argentinian national chivo (goat) cookout. Last March they cooked over 1,200… in one day! They say you can smell it from twenty miles away. Requiring special security just to deal with the dogs.

The irony is we typically use them to pump ourselves up to make more money, so we can by more creature comforts, and make our lives easier, which will – if we truly believe in the sayings in the first place – make us weaker.
