Fantastic post. And I’m not just saying that because we were very thoughtfully mentioned – which meant so much to us. I’m just getting started blogging and you and your family are some of my greatest inspirations! We love you & miss you all! Want to meet up in Ecuador? Or maybe Costa Rica?

hey I started lighting firecrackers when I was 5 visiting the rural relatives (one generation removed from the original homesteaders) in North Dakota…showed my little sister Anne how to do the same and she WAS 4 at the time, so that’s when I first saw four year olds lighting firecrackers…of course all 5 of the other 4 to 6 year olds in in the one street town of Bordulac were also lighting firecarckers too, and my teenaged cousins who taught us how were blowing up whole bricks of firecrackers at once in the middle of the main street or in someone’s outhouse… many of the homes only had outhouses, they this caused quite a problem in some households…be positive, tolerant, courageous (e.g. stand on the service line when Wade serves the #1), curious, creative, and finish….I like it!
